How mentions split into positive, neutral and negative, and how to drill down.

The sentiment block shows how AI answers talk about you, not just how often.

The distribution

A chart splits your mentions in the selected window into positive, neutral and negative, based on the tone score of each mention. Positive starts at 0.2 upwards, negative at minus 0.2 downwards.

Drilling into mentions

Click a segment in the distribution, or a day in the mentions-over-time chart, to see the underlying mentions. Each one shows the exact answer text, so you can read what the AI actually said instead of staring at an average.

This drill-down is where sentiment work gets concrete: find the recurring phrases, check whether they come from outdated sources, and decide whether to counter them with content or with the sources themselves.

Prerequisites

Mentions and sentiment require an analysis key: your own OpenRouter key on the Free plan, or the platform-provided analysis on paid plans. Without it this block stays empty while citation metrics continue to work.
