How SEOAI works
The track, diagnose, fix, measure loop and how your data is organized.
SEOAI works because it asks AI the same questions your customers ask, over and over, and records exactly what comes back. Here is how the pieces fit together.
The loop
- Track: SEOAI sends your prompts to the AI platforms you selected and stores every answer.
- Understand: the dashboard and reports show how visible you were, who got cited instead, and how the tone of mentions develops.
- Diagnose: the Gaps area classifies every absence and audits your pages for citability, so you learn why AI skips you.
- Fix: each diagnosis comes with a concrete recommendation, such as adding a direct answer sentence to a specific page.
- Measure: the next runs show whether the fix moved your visibility.
How your data is organized
- Workspace: the top-level container for a team or client account. You can belong to several workspaces.
- Brand: the company or product whose visibility you track, including aliases such as spelling variants.
- Topic: a group of prompts around one theme, for example "best crm for small agencies". Each topic has its own schedule and AI platforms.
- Prompt: one exact question sent to the AIs. Prompts are tracked as written, because wording changes the answer.
Every time one prompt runs on one platform, that is one execution. Executions are the unit of measurement and the unit of your monthly quota.
What happens after a run
When a run completes, SEOAI extracts structured data from each answer: linked citations, brand mentions with sentiment, the sub-queries the AI ran internally (fan-out), and the sources it used. The analysis results feed the dashboard, reports, competitor data, gaps, and alerts.
