Alerts overview
The alert feed and how monitoring works after every run.
Alerts watch your tracking data so you do not have to. After every tracking run, SEOAI evaluates your alert rules against the fresh results and raises an alert in the feed when something crosses a threshold.
The alert feed
The bell in the navigation shows unread alerts with a count. The feed lists alerts newest first, each with the brand, the topic, and a sentence that states exactly what happened, for example: visibility for a topic fell from 62 to 48, or a domain entered the top five cited competitors. From the feed you jump straight into the affected topic.
Brand filter, unread filter and Mark all read keep the feed manageable as volume grows.
The five alert types
- Visibility drop: a topic's visibility fell by at least your threshold
- New competitor: a domain entered the top five cited competitors for a topic
- Sentiment turned negative: the share of negative mentions crossed your threshold
- Citation loss: a source that cited your domain last week stopped doing so
- Name confusion: AI answers cite new same-name companies that are not you
Where rules are configured
Below the feed, each brand has its own rule settings with per-rule thresholds. Rules run automatically after every tracking run; nothing needs scheduling.
